Positve words and The Positve Word Dictionary

Hello Dear Reader, Welcome to my new blog entittled Positive Words, Thoughts and Theories. Today i would like to look at the word forest. This interesting word came to mind when i was visiting a hinterland rain forest the other day, to take some photograghs of some of the beautiful trees growing there. I spent a couple of hours in the stillness of the rainforest, with all the beautiful bird song. And I listened to the peaceful silence between each note that the birds sung to each other. It was so still and peaceful. In this still and peaceful atmosphere, it suddenly dawned on me that did the word "forest" actually mean "for-rest"? It was so peaceful and still that I found it a wonderful place for rest. I lay down on the sweet smelling soil and looked skyward into the camopy of these massive and magestic trees.
